Sortie en janvier 2013 de la compilation "Mali All Stars : Bogolan Music"

Elle est la numéro un à Bamako ! La grande griotte et amie de Bogolan Babani Koné enregistre son prochain opus au studio. Ses ambitions d'un succès en dehors des frontières du Mali seront sans doute récompensées avec l'appui du guerrier Cheick Tidiane Seck et de notre ingénieur du son Eliezer.

• Babani Koné is number one in Bamako! The friend of Bogolan, Babani Koné records her next opus in the Music Studio.

Pour la première fois et après un passage remarqué au Festival au désert, le groupe newyorkais "the Sway Machinery" a passé douze jours au Studio Bogolan. Pour la première fois, en effet la musique malienne accueillait un groupe de musique Klezmer, pour un mélange dont on attend des nouvelles avec impatience. A la console Eliezer comme d'hab !

• For the first time and after a passage noticed to the Festival in the desert, the New York group " the Sway Machinery " passed twelve days in the Studio Bogolan.

Quel plaisir de recevoir M (Mathieu Chedid) au Studio Bogolan ! Il était déjà passé à Bamako en 2006 à l'occasion du festival Paris Bamako. Cette fois c'est au Studio Bogolan qu'il est venu pour enregistrer avec une équipe malo-malienne : aux manettes Eliezer comme d'hab !

• What a pleasure to receive M (Mathieu Chedid) in the Studio Bogolan! He came at Bamako in 2006 on the occasion of the festival Paris Bamako. This time it is to the Studio Bogolan to record his  new CD.

Amy D a enregistré les premiers titres de son nouvel album au studio fin mars. Elle touche autant le Hip Hop que la chanson traditionnelle malienne. Son énergie et ses grooves imparables font d'elle une référence de la nouvelle génération. Aminata Doumbia est née à Bamako en 1972. Elle est remarquée dès l'âge de 8 ans et participe aux biennales artistiques et culturelles du Mali. En 1998, elle est repérée par Salif Keïta qu'elle accompagnera sur scène et avec lequel elle fera plusieurs fois le tour du Monde.

• Amy D recorded the first titles of her new album in the studio at the end of March. She gets as much the Hip-hop as the malian traditional song.

Dix ans après sa fondation par le regretté Ali Farka Touré, l’anniversaire du Studio Bogolan est l’occasion de rappeler en quoi le Mali est pour la musique africaine une porte ouverte sur le monde. La compilation "Bogolan Music" a pour but d’établir le parcours des plus grands artistes maliens et internationaux ayant séjournés au studio ainsi que des talents de la nouvelle génération. Elle regroupera deux CD audio, un DVD.

• Ten years after its foundation by Ali Farka Touré, the anniversary of the Studio Bogolan is the opportunity to call back in what Mali is for the African music a door opened on the world. The compilation " Bogolan Music " will include two  CD and a DVD.

Accompagné d'une équipe marseillaise dont David Walters, le projet MixUp Bamako, est revenu à Bamako après la résidence et le concert de Février 2008. Cette fois, c'était pour enregistrer l'album "Mixup Bamako" au Studio Bogolan, en février 2009, avec Hamet Fofana, Issa Bagayoko, et tout le groupe qui avait animé l'excellente soirée du BlonBa en 2008. C'était donc également l'occasion de croiser notre cher Mangala Camara.

• Accompanied by a team from Marseille with  David Walters, the album MixUp Bamako, was recorded in February, 2009, with Hamet Fofana, Issa Bagayoko, and all the group which had livened up the excellent evening of BlonBa in 2008. It also was the opportunity to meet our dear Mangala Camara.

Le dernier album de Vieux Farka Touré "Fondo" est dans les backs. Sous la houlette de notre ingénieur du son résident Eliezer et de Vieux Farka lui même, cet album nous dévoile une énergie et des groove très actuels. L'album est distribué par le label Sixdegrees.

• Vieux Farka Touré's last album " Fondo " is for sale. This album reveals us an energy and very current groove. It is distributed by the label Sixdegrees.

En compagnie du label anglais DirtMusic, le groupe touareg Tamikrest a enregistré son album. Il avait invité pour l'occasion Fatimata, chanteuse du groupe Tartit.

• Together with the English label DirtMusic, the Touareg group Tamikrest recorded its album. He had invited Fatimata, singer of the group Tartit.

Un cours d’histoire en chansons. Mandekalou revisite l’épopée de Soundiata Keïta, légendaire fondateur de l’Empire mandingue au XIIIe siècle. Le producteur Ibrahima Sylla avait à coeur, de réunir un "super groupe", comme il l’a fait avec Africando pour la salsa et Kekelé pour la rumba afin de réaliser un album en hommage à cette épopée. Avant leur voyage pour Paris où ils ont joué à la cité de la Musique, ils ont préparé leur spectacle au Studio Bogolan.

• A history course with songs: Mandekalou revisits the epic of Soundiata Keïta, legendary founder of the  Mandingue Empire  in the XIIIth century. The producer Ibrahima Sylla has realized an album , tribute at this epic.

Sous la houlette de notre ami Jay Rutlege du Label Allemand Out Here Records, Bassekou Kouyaté a enregistré le deuxième opus de son groupe NgonyBa. C'est Jerry Boy, l'ingénieur du son de World Circuit, qui accompagné de notre résident Eliezer Oubda a officié au Studio durant cette fin d'année.

• With Jay Rutlege of the German Label Out Here Records, Bassekou Kouyaté recorded the second opus of his group NgonyBa.

Blick Bassy, finaliste du prix Découvertes RFI en 2007, signe enfin Léman, un premier album international, qui vogue délicatement sur un océan de rythmes du Cameroun ou d’Afrique de l’Ouest au gré de ses influences soul, jazz ou bossa. Enregistré au studio Bogolan au printemps 2008 par notre confrère Jean Lamotte, Blick Bassy nous ouvre les portes de la musique camerounaise.

• Blick Bassy, the finalist of RFI Découvert in 2007, signs finally with the label Leman, a first international album. Recorded in the studio Bogolan in spring, 2008 by Jean Lamotte, the artist opens the doors of the Cameroonian music.

Six ans depuis son précédent opus, Seya le dernier album d'Oumou Sangaré était très attendu. Comme à son habitude, l'équipe de World Circuit nous a fait confiance. Un travail en plusieurs étape avec Eliezer au manettes mais également le guerrier Cheick Tidiane Seck, et enfin Jerry Boy.

• Six years since its previous opus, Seya the last album of Oumou Sangaré was eagerly awaited. As usual, team of World Circuit relied on us.

Adama Yalomba a enregistré son dernier album "Kassa" produit par le label Metisrecords. la sortie de l'album est prévu en 2009. un grand nombre d'invités prestigieux ont participé au projet parmi lesquels Cheick Tidiance Seck, Keziah Jones, Nicolas Repac...
